Add to basketUnbound. Condition: Poor. Two volumes, quarto, pp 682; viii, 462, lacking the portrait frontispiece but with 52 hand-coloured plates (WITH the 'White Negroes' plate which is often missing, but lacking possibly one other plate ?). A very poor copy - the bindings are a wreck, completely detached from the contents, contemporary calf but with appalling leather spines added. The contents are mainly firm, though the title page to the second volume is detached, and the last few pages are nearly so,; the plates aree genrally reasonable, though two have sellotape repairs to the inner margins. There is a little damp-wrinkling to half the pages and plates in the first volume though no actual staining. Overal - a working /study copy, and the bindings need throwing away! But offered at a very reasonabel price. Heavy, though, so extra postage will be needed.
