At least 9 different colours have been used (red, blue, aqua, green, yellow, orange, purple, pink, & brown). Text in French. Printed by Simon Blocquel (1780-1863). Bound in full leather, gilt lettering & design to front cover & spine, gilt borders to both covers, all edges gilt, marbled endpapers, ribbon page marker. Wear to covers & tips, light foxing throughout, former owner's contemporary ink name to ffep, spine flaking, mild internal sporadic worming, otherwise a clean tight solid leatherbound copy. 330pp + 6pp table. Extremely RARE.
