First Edition Signed
Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine. 1st Edition. Stated First Edition with Number Line to 1. Signed and inscribed by the author on the half-title page (see photo). As you can see from the photos, the covers are exceptionally clean and have very little wear, a few light creases and a thin line of color fade off the bottom edge of the front and spine. The page edges look perfectly clean. And so do the pages of the book. I'm scrolling through them without finding any instances of soiling. That includes the white inside covers and end papers. The book is very solidly bound. The pages are all nicely tight. There are no markings. No creases. No attachments. And with the exception of the author's signed inscription, no one has written their name or anything else anywhere in the book. You can see the dust jacket in the first few photos. It too is in very nice condition. There are no tears. There is a fairly inconspicuous crease just off the top edge of the rear cover. The flaps are in excellent shape and very clean. The jacket is NOT price-clipped, not clipped at all. It will be fitted with a protective cover after the photos are scanned. From the dust jacket: 'Interweaving his account of the Stephen Avery trial, the case at the heart of Making a Murderer, with other high-profile cases from his criminal defense career, attorney Jerome F. Buting explains the flaws in America's criminal justice system and lays out a provocative, persuasive blueprint for reform. Buting's powerful, riveting boots-on-the-ground narrative of Avery's and Dassy's cases becomes a springboard to examine the shaky integrity of law enforcement and justice in the United States, which Buting has observed firsthand for more than thirty-five years.'. Inscribed by Author(s).

Paperback. Condition: New.
