Kalashnikov has illustrated many works of literature (some by Primrose) and was a noted Russian graphic artist doing work for USSR bureaus and international organizations. WILLIAM WHEWELL [1794-1866] was the Knightbridge Professor of Moral Philosophy at Trinity College Cambridge and a remarkable polymath who made notable contributions to the fields of science, architecture, economics, mathematics, philosophy, translation, poetry, education, theology, jurisprudence and engineering. The Whewell Chair of International Law at Cambridge University is named in his honor.
