Half-Leather. Condition: Very Good +. No Jacket. A nice, clean, tight, solid copy. Rebound with leather spine and corners. Ribbed spine with mining hammers gilt embossed at top and AJS at bottom. Second rib down has been poked inward. 134 pages of text and 12 fold out illustrations of timbering examples. Text is all German. Original ownership A J Seligman. He donated to Helena (MT) library in 1899. Albert Joseph came to Montana in 1881 from New York. From a rich banking family, Albert was a Mining Engineer to look after their mining investments.
