A handsome little volume which delivers, in verse and prose, instruction, rules, and how to behave when playing the game. Spine slightly faded with light wear to the extremities. Very uncommon variant binding thought by some to have been especially done in very limited numbes for distribution by the author and/or publisher. No internal markings, owner names, marginallia, damage of any sort save foxing on the tissue guards. Beautiful pre-1900 golf gem. Size: 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. G.A.Laundy (illustrator).
