Wonderful frontispiece photo portrait of the author. 291 pages. Dust jacket is quite clean and not price clipped but does have edge wear, light rubbing and short closed edge tears; enclosed in new archival quality removable mylar cover. True stories of the author's adventure-filled life from the forests of Canada to the Mercantile Marine and later, service with the mine sweepers during the war and the sinking of the "Ontranto", when he was the senior officer saved.
