Rebound in dark brown calf with gilt lettering and bands spine, raised bands spine forming 5 compartments, new brown EPs. Red seminary library stamp on title page. No other library marks on any pages. Clean covers, missing much of the gilt in the spine littering, sold binding, complete with short-ttile page and with four pages of publisher's ads at end. Title page is heavily embrowned and has a tideline. Subsequent 30 pages have increasingly faint tideline in upper outside corner. Pages 161 to 176 have heavy embrowning. Most other pages are bright but some have light scattered foxing (not heavy). The book measures 222mm tall x 150mm, and has 492 + [4] pages, b/w frontispiece.
