The author details their visits to the country, highlighting the various towns they viewed on their travels. Illustrated with a frontispiece and three plates by Irving Montagu. Collated, with all plates called for, with an additional plate not mentioned in other copies, containing a photograph of Auckland dated 1889. Bound in the publisher's pictorial boards. Externally, very good, with light rubbing to the extremities and joints and a few marks. Label residue to front cover. Darkening to the spine. Ink inscription to front paste down.
