    Hardcover. Condition: Fair. 1st Edition. Two volumes. Both volumes have issues, volume one lacks the maps on page 218 and 384 and page 283/284 is torn and creased, and the top and tail of the spine are worn and the vignette illustrated front cover is badly faded. Otherwise collated and complete, the covers show some age wear but the binding is firm and the contents are clean, both loose maps in the front and rear pockets are in excellent condition. Volume two covers show large patches of loss of colour and the front cover illustration is also badly faded, foot of spine worn, otherwise the books are firmly bound and clean, collated and complete. (large parcel so postage in the UK will be twice the template advertised. Overseas postage likely to exceed the price of the book!).

The book contains a variety of sporting incidents after elephant near the Semliki River and Lake Albert as well as buffalo, and lion .
