Minime abrasioni presso i bordi e lungo le pur robuste cerniere, due minuscoli fori al piatto podt. All'interno fresco e immacolato, fregi, capilettera e finalini ornati o figurati. Nastrino segnalibro. Opera del tutto originale scritta ed edita in francese ma in Piemonte e poi, sempre qui, tradotta in italiano. CONSTANS, dapprima attivo a Aix-en-Provence, poi in Piemonte, dove sperimentò direttamente metodi originali non solo di coltivazione e allevamento ma anche di allestimento tecnico ed organ9izzativo di una "filatura modello".

Leg. più recente in mezza pelle di imitazione settecentesca, dorso a nervi con titoli in oro. Buon esemplare. (5582) La dicitura ingannevole, "tradotto dall'originale francese", può fare credere trattarsi di edizione italiana di opera francese; in realtà si tratta di opera del tutto originale, anche se scritta nel nativo idioma dall'autore, originario della Francia meridionale, attivo ad Aix-en-Provence, e poi trapiantatosi in Piemonte apportandovi i suoi metodi nel campo della sericoltura e dell'agricoltura. Importante in questa sua opera soprattutto la terza parte (Esame di una Filatura), ove il Castellet espone il suo piano per l'allestimento di una "filatura modello" nei suoi aspetti tecnico-organizzativi. Re, Diz. libri agricoltura II/p. 96: "Reca dell'esperienze fatte da lui, occupato in questo ramo d'economia per lo spazio di sedici anni"; Sirugo, n. 189; Bibl. Einaudi, n. 941 (ma non si tratta della versione italiana dell'Art de multiplier la Soie, come ivi affermato).
