Each edition comes together with an audio CD, often including BBC recordings of full-length works. The first issue appeared in September 1992. The writing pen featured in the final photo was added to provide scale. "The Greatest of the Five Boroughs of Greater New York," as Chadwick's history is titled. Some-300 of the photographs are by George P.
