Die weißen Lichter wurden auf dem Stein ausgespart, sodass das Papier durchscheint, was dem Bild Tiefe verleiht. Eine kurvige Landstraße führt an einer weiten Weide mit grasenden Kühen vorbei. Folding map in printed stiff wrappers. Very good condition, small separations at some fold junctions. Outline color by town. This is a tall, thin map of the Massachusetts shoreline above Cape Cod. Extends west as far as Haverhill, Raynham and Boston's Back Bay.

104x68 cm. Folding map in stiff illustrated wrappers. Map is good, with damage and small loss along a fold at the top left in the Town of Arlington. Bottom left corner was misfolded. Bright color, some full, some outline. Extends to Winchester, Melrose and Saugus in the north, Quincy, Milton and Dedham in the south. It includes all of Brookline, Charlestown, Somerville, Cambridge, Medford, Chelsea, Everett and Malden. This map has been redrawn from an earlier (c.1895) Walker map of the same name and general extent. This map stretches a little farther in all directions as the earlier map, though it is the same size.

Folding map in original printed stiff wrappers. Wrappers very lightly worn, map in fine condition. Outline color by town, major roads in red. Shows much of southeastern Maine from Kennebunk Beach in the south to Freeport on the coast and Durham inland in the north. Extends northwest to show all of Sebago Lake and parts of the towns of Bridgton, Naples and Casco.

Pocket map in printed stiff wrappers. Map and folder in fine condition. Outline color by county, with major roads highlighted in bright red. Large inset map of the area around Boston, from Swampscott to Needham. Smaller inset map of downtown Boston. Undated, but clearly a fairly early automobile map. Front wrapper is titled Automobile Routes of Massachusetts. Listing of 37 Walker automobile maps on back cover, other folding maps inside front cover.

Hardcover. Condition: Very good. First Edition. OCLC 63260244; six chromolithographs by Hatch, Lith. Co; 60pp with marvelous cat illustration on almost every page and six really sharp lithos by Hatch. Books is very good -- boards worn on the edges, some soiling (dirty little fingers) but binding is tight and contents generally very good. Previous owner's neat 1893 Christmas inscription, offsetting from the lithos. A nice copy of a scarce and fun cat book. This lithos are wonderful.

Original illustrated brown cloth, front hinge gone, cover loose. Worn at edges, corners bumped. Many leaves moderately waterstained, heavier towards the front of the volume. iv, 68 pp., with uncolored cartoon illustrations on rectos. Versos blank. Each illustration is accompanied by a limerick, many on some sort of economic or political theme. A book of limericks with satirical sketches accompanied by limerick verse published on the occasion of the Great Central Fair for the US Sanitary Commission in 1864 for the relief of Union soldiers. This volume was undoubtedly modeled after Edward Lear's A Book of Nonsense, the first edition of which had been published at Philadelphia the previous year. This book demonstrates the public's appetite for the genre. Five illustrations encompass racial subjects (#'s 4, 42, 47, 52 & 60), one of which also caricatures Lincoln. The lithographs are executed by Endicott & Co. Illustrations are variously signed: B.D., W.E.Cresson, Cresson, Mrs. Emlen Cresson, G.W.Clinton, G.W.C. Murrell (American Graphic Humor) volume 1, p.214. Sabin 6347.
