Tutien-Noltehnius with his name and address "Mar Lodge, Bandarawela" inscribed on the title page. Numerous black and white photographic plates. Some light wear and marking to the covers, otherwise very good. Adriaan Constant Tutein-Nolthenius (1892-1954), amateur naturalist and author. Born in the Netherlands, he settled in Ceylon where he became a tea planter, taking on British citizenship, and later standing as a member of parliament.…

Condition: Good. 1st Edition. Light brown cloth book with gilt lettering to spine and front cover. All pages appear intact, with previous owner's name to ffep and light occasional foxing to pages. Boards show wear with bumping, rubbing and fraying to edges and some wear marks to covers. Includes cash memo for the sale of the book in 1960.…
