Price-clipped illustrated jacket clean but marred by 2cm x 1 cm tear and chip to bottom back edge, short nick top back outer corner and hint of raggedness top spine, these all now internally closed with archival tear repair tape, will add protective sleeve when ordered. Issued as number 10 in the Myths and Legends series, this number occurring on both book and jacket spines. First French edition 1962. 12 cm x 18 cm.

Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. B E Haskin (frontis) (illustrator). Paper covered full color pictorial boards with gilt trim, acidic pages. Much nicer shape than usual! Poems, stories, pictures and songs by these authors: Ida Fay, Emily Carter, LPA, George Cooper, Elizabeth Sill, T Crampton, Leonora, Aunt Susan, Grace Coolidge, Dora Burnside, GL=FL, JRJ, S P Bartlett, Aunt Kate, Lizzie, Marian Douglas, Kitty's Mamma, Kate Cameron, MEL, MSC, Mary N Prescott, Lloyd Wyman, Henry, EC, Uncle Sam, Mrs Thingumbob, Mrs A M Wells. On the front and back endpapers is a 4 panel comic featuring Grandpa trying to kick a football, signed "Bunny." Corners of spine are bumped, there is some soil and scuffing, paper is starting to split along the edge of the back cover, overall very good, which is far better than we usually find this type of book.
