Vintage script for the 1968 American debut of the 1965 British play. Two gay lovers successfully rob a bank and stash the loot in a coffin in the funeral parlor next door. A decidedly queer spin on popular 1960s British satires such as "Beyond the Fringe" and "Private Eye." The play made its Broadway debut at the Biltmore Theatre on March 18, 1968. OCLC locates two holdings. Blue titled Studio Duplicating Service wrappers with credit for playwright Joe Orton. Title page present, with two New York Public Library stamps, noted as copy No. 155 in manuscript ink, with credit for playwright Joe Orton. 101 leaves, with last page of text numbered 2-35. Mimeograph duplication, rectos only. Pages and wrapper Very Good plus, bound with two gold brads.
