Occasional spotting or finger smudges to text, though overall rather clean. Chapters on games with and without implements and indoor and outdoor, as well as many sports, gymnastics and the keeping of pets. Preface dated 1869. The Captain is the Author of the 1857 Treatise The Game of Billiards in 1857. this is his second book and shows tactics and techniques this is a classic in the field of games.
