F…irst few pages are foxed, including the frontispiece page and title page. Signed by previous owner on half-title page. Black-and-white illustrated frontispiece of a horse titled "'George Frederick' Property of Mr. W. J. Cartwright. Winner of the Derby 1874. From a Picture by Harry Hall in the possession of Mr. Lender, Newmarket.". Tissue-guard is intact, but foxed. Title page dated 1894. No copyright page. 304 pages plus 16 pages of ads. 9 illustrations. Interiors are clean and unmarked. Signatures are a tad loose between pages 160 and 161. Overall, a fair and readable copy with many handsome illustrations.
