Pages remain bright and clean. Binding remains firm. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some mild marking and tanning. Slipcase has light edge wear with minor marking to panels.

Condition: Fair. 1963. No Edition Remarks. 254 pages. No dust jacket, Folio edition with slipcase. Grey slipcase over textured green cloth with gilt title label to spine. Edited by Kenneth Fenwick. Includes photographic plates. Map endpapers. Pages and binding are presentable with no major defects. Minor issues present such as mild cracking, inscriptions, inserts, light foxing, tanning and thumb marking. Boards have mild shelf wear with light rubbing and corner bumping. Some light marking and sunning. Boards are slightly bowed. Slipcase has substantial marks, bumped corners and noticeable cracking to joins. Some water staining too.
