With a small misprint to 'list of illustrations' to volume II, with the plate 'In a moment I had it in my arms' facing page 190, not page 100. In the publisher's original cloth binding, with pictorial gilt and black stamped design to front boards. Externally excellent, with slight fading to spines and bumping to extremities. The odd small marks to boards. Prior owner's bookplate tipped to front pastedown. Front hinges slightly split and strained. Internally firmly bound.
