Il primo frontespizio del volume doppio riporta erroneamente l'indicazione Tomus I, tuttavia i successivi riprendono la serie riportanto correttamente tomus IV Tomus V. Cirillo, Giuseppe Pasquale fu Giurista, filosofo e letterato (Grumo Nevano, Napoli, 1709 - Napoli 1776) insegnà nell'univ. di Napoli. Ebbe fama come avvocato, scrisse anche alcune commedie, tra cui una sul pregiudizio della iettatura, I malocchi (Treccani).
