The idea for the work followed the theft of a chalice from a Shropshire church, which due to insufficient cataloguing, the vicar was unable to accurately describe. Externally, lovely condition with only minor bumping and rubbing, leading to very subtle loss of cloth to the spine head, and one or two marks. Internally, firmly bound. Very bright and clean.
