Georges Levitsky was a 20th-century Odes…sa-born binder in Paris whose clients included King Albert I of Belgium and King Alexander I of Serbia. Four works, duodecimo (163 x 107 mm). Uniformly bound by Georges Levitzky in green marbled vellum, spines hand-lettered in black and red ink, lyre device in gilt and black to spines, double panels in black and gilt to covers, yapp edges, marbled endpapers, remains of silk bookmarks, top edge gilt. A little wear to spine ends. An excellent set.
