In original wrappers with a colour plate tipped on the front cover by Jeannie McConnell. This appears to be an early version, possibly a proof copy of the full published (and longer) edition more commonly seen (which… does not have the colour plate). Scarce. Prior owner has written the name of the work to the front wrap. In original paper wraps. Externally, chipped to the extremities and to the head and tail. Image to front wrap is sunned, with the image fading. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright with occasional spots to pages. Very Good. Jeannie McConnell (illustrator). book.
