paperback. Condition: Good. First Edition. French language paperback has a 48 page essay, 127 black and white photos of New York and 10 pages of captions. About 75 of the photos were shot by Henri Cartier-Bresson. This is a very unique book that captures NYC in the 1940s. Paperback wraps are darkened with age, worn edges, chipped head/tail of spine. Glue in the binding is dried-out and is breaking in spots, the book is still intact, but it's fragile. All orders packed with care, most dust jackets protected by Brodart sleeve, independent bookseller since 2011.
