A few minor abrasions to covers, and some ligh…t rubbing/wear to extremities. Bindings remain square and firm. Marbled edges with marbled end papers. Contemporary former owner inscription to blank opposite title[partially erased] in volume I. Otherwise generally clean within. A 'Very Good' pair. Scarce.
