The front board has two, 4" to 5" diagonal creases. The rear board has a bump/crease near the bot tom left corner. The spine tips and corners are slightly rubbed. Bumps to the lower front corners. The contents are clean, tight and unmarke d. A scarce Suspense-Adventure type novel taking place in Pakistan. De llbridge was a pseudonym used by Frederick Joseph De Verteuil (1887-19 63)who was a native of Trinidad and author of several mystery and adve ntures novels. Although not in Hubin this novel seems to fall in the m ystery-suspense category.

THE WRAPPER : The evocative period wrapper on this copy is bright, unfaded and complete. It has been clipped and re-priced by the publisher. The top edges show light wear, including a couple of barely visible closed tear. There is a tiny touch of reinforcement to the inside of the wrapper. The red spine lettering is unfaded. Looks sharp. THE BOOK : The book is square and very tight. The boards are clean and unfaded. The spine ends are gently bruised and rubbed. The pages are clean. The closed page edges are dusty and lightly flecked. The binding is tight - no cracked hinges. No dog-eared pages. There are no previous ownership inscriptions. A nice copy in a protected wrapper. Paypal accepted.
