Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Small 8vo. Hardcover. Pp. 11. Jack Delvin's typescript for the book Young Ideas in Magic, a series of fold-out letters bound into a single book, including an introductory letter addressed to 'Mr Magician', presumably the author, complementing him on his new manuscript. Professionally rebound in b…rown cloth with gilt title on spine; slight shelf-wear including faint scuffs and marks, with minor bumping on the corners. Pencil annotations on front end-paper, which also has a bookplate from the Magic Book Club. Letters themselves are clean, intact and tightly bound, with light foxing. Jack Delvin is a magician who has performed close-up and cabaret in most of Londons leading hotels and has appeared on many television shows. Delvin first fell in love with magic at the age of five years old, doing his first professional show by 13. By the time he was 18 he had a successful stage act. Coming from a family of teachers, Delvin found pleasure in teaching magic. He has written books, made videos and provided lessons. He created the London School of Magic. Later he also ran Davenports' School of Magic. Having recently retired from touring, he is now concentrating on teaching.
