Cover: good The lithographs are bright, unmarked and flat. All 10 are signed, dated and numbered by artist. This is copy # 446/2000 (see pictures). Text by Professor George Luiz Paredes. Cover is in good condition with shelf wear, edge fraying and stains. The front inside cover has gift inscription and other words which have been whited out (see pic). As doze aves representadas por cada gravuras, corresponde às seguintes espécies: - Gravura I: uma Arara-Canindé ( Ara ararauna ) e uma Arara-Vermelha ( Ara macao ), esta ultima também é conhecida por Araracanga ou Arara-Vermelha pequena, destacando-se da Arara-Vermelha ( Ara chloropterus ) pela penas amarelas nas asas. - Gravura II: um Tiê-sangue ( Ramphocelus bresilius dorsalis ) macho, uma subspécie do Ramphocelus bresilius que só é encontrada na Mata Atlântica do Rio de Janeiro a Santa Catarina. - Gravura III: dois espécimes machos do Sai-andorinha ( Tersina viridis ) e do Saíra ( Stilpnia cyanicollis syn- Tangara cyanicollis ). - Gravura IV: o icónico Tucanoçu ou Tucano toco ( Rhamphastos toco ). - Gravura V: Surucuá de barriga vermelha ( Trogon collaris ) macho. - Gravura VI: um Quem-Quem ou Gralha-cancã (Cyanocorax cyanopogon) - Gravura VII: dois Saíras, um Tangará arthus e Tangara schrankii . - Gravura VIII: Três espécimes de Cambacica ( Coereba flaveola chloropyga ) em redor de um ninho esférico. - Gravura IX: Três Tangarás ( Chiroxiphia caudata ), dois espécimes macho e uma fêmea. - Gravura X: Dois Beija-flores, Ordem Apodiformes, família Troquilídeos . Os dois espécimes não estão identificados, contudo, o espécime no ramo inferior corresponde a um Colibri-de-nuca-branca ( Florisuga mellivora mellivora ) macho e outro espécime um macho de Colibri-de-garganta-rubi ( Archilochus colubris ). - Gravura XI: Dois espécimes de Pombinhas Fogo-pagou ( Scardafella squammata ). - Gravura XII: Sabiá-laranjeira ( Turdus rufiventris ) adulto.
