A selection of seven S/F stories, all dealing with the theme of invasion from another world, or counter-attack from Earth against the planets. The authors are: Simak, del Rey, Eric Frank Russell, Asimov, Wyndham, Wandrei, and Clark Ashton Smith. An influential anthology: however, this British hardcover omits 7 stories, as does the US paperback of the same title. The US hardcover contains the full quota.
