Obtient ensuite le monopole de la vente des cartes produites par le Dépôt de la Marine ; chargé à ce titre de l'"entrepôt général des cartes de la Marine". Rédacteur en août et nov. 1780, puis en 1781, de catalogues de son fonds. Membre de la 2e assemblée électorale de Paris (août 1791-août 1792) ; dit âgé de 46 ans et géographe du Roi en 1791. Décédé entre le 22 avril et le 22 juillet 1824. Son fils Jean-André Dezauche est chargé en sa succession, à partir de 1824, de la vente des cartes du Dépôt de la Marine. Un "Jean Claude Dezauches", peut-être un homonyme, décède à Paris le 5 août 1829 (Archives de From the collection of Hon. Gerald Henry Brabazon Ponsonby (1829-1908), Private secretary to the Lord-Lieutenant of Ireland; son of 4th Earl of Bessborough.

Sous un titre des plus généraux, l'opuscule ne renseigne qu'un itinéraire comme l'indique la dédicace au Prince de Marsan : "Route de Paris à Compiègne". La dédicace ne mentionne que le titre de lieutenant général des armées du Roi (1758) pour le prince Louis-Camille de Marsan (1725-1780), et non son gouvernorat de Provence (1770-1780), ce qui permet de dater la pièce des années 1760.Éditeur et marchand de cartes géographiques ainsi que graveur et ingénieur-géographe, Jean-Claude Dezauche (1745-1824) devait racheter en juin 1780 le fonds géographique de Guillaume Delisle et de Philippe Buache, son oncle, premiers géographes du Roi et de l'Académie des Sciences, auxquels il succéda. Il obtint ensuite le monopole de la vente des cartes produites par le Dépôt de la Marine et chargé à ce titre de "l'entrepôt général des cartes de la Marine".Les cartes sont les suivantes :1.
