Black boards rubbed, black marker on library shelf sticker affixed at front board's top left corner, wear and scuffing at spine ends with flaking to white stamped publisher's impr…int near heel, spine's white stamped author lettering and red title lettering remain bright, short surface tear at head of rear joint. Light toning/foxing to edges and endpapers; swaths of black marker obscuring library stamps on all three text block edges and on title page; front pastedown marred by library pocket and black marker treatment to library bookplate; withdrawn stamps on front endpapers too; no other library markings readily apparent upon a quick perusal. Occasional light foxing to several interior pages which are otherwise clean. Binding is firm. Uncommon autobiography by British boxer Terry Downes who held the world middleweight boxing title for ten months during 1961 and 1962.
