Jean de La Leu (1775), as well as that of M. Louis-César de La Baume Le Blanc, Duc de La Vallière (1783-84), the famous sale held at the Hôtel de Bullion (1785) and many others. Each entry often consists of a brief bibliographical description of the book, commentary on rarity or quality, where it appeared in famous sales and sale prices. It represents an important record some of the rarest,precious, and most sought-after books of the ancien régime.
