Holmes cites Cuban feminist Ana Mendieta as a key influence. Vincent Eames' foreword draws attention to Holmes' interest in geometric abs…traction, identifying the influence of Barbara Hepworth, Lygia Pape, and Russian Constructivism. Holmes produces visually adventurous prints - evocative forms of abstract landscapes - incorporating drawing, using photopolymer etching, linocut, silkscreen, and monotype techniques. Cover slightly rubbed, otherwise very good condition.
