Hardcover. Condition: Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Poor. 2nd Edition. DJ is poor with a piece missing from spine area and lots of edge wear and scuffing. Gray/blue hard cover has fading on spine and minor corner and spine end wear. Inside, previous owner's name and address written in ink. Some wrinkling along binding and binding just starting to come loose only noticeable on the first few pages. B & W photos and illustrations, and a few color plates.

Binding very good but has been the victim of water. Almost all pages faintly stained and wrinkled from the bottom edge to about 2 inches upward. The DJ shows a water stain only very faintly, but it is also frayed and has short tears. A solid book a little short on aesthetics.
