Fabulous, hardback book, red cloth with black & white blocked images on fighting men from around the 1860's, gilt title impressions on the spine. Comes with black coloured box, slipcase, a tad worn around the edges. The book is in really good condition, normal wear and marks apply consistent with use and age. The spine is a wee bit faded from exposure to sunlight. Top of paper edges are a red colour. First published by The Folio Society in 1968. 216 pages, all intact, all pages, text, maps and illustrations are in really good, clean, readable order. Printed and bound by W & J Mackay & Co Ltd, Chatham. Set in Monotype Walbaum 12 on 13 point. Illustrations printed by D H Greaves, Scarborough. Another wonderful book from The Folio Society.
