A hint of sunning to spine and very mild shelf wear. There is a beginning split in the gutter between front pastedown and endpaper, however, binding remains solid. A gently read book in excellent condition. No inscriptions. Not ex-library. Scarce. ; xvi, 262 pages.

Illustrated in the text by the "Just William" illustrator. No inscription and clean throughout in tight, square binding. Illustrated and titles in red on cloth boards. Just a touch of darker colouring to very small areas of top edge. Jacket (now protected in plastic sleeve) is darkened and a little ragged to top and tail of spine area. Large stain is visible though not obtrusively so being more noticeable to inside surface. Some age spotting to flaps. A lovely clean copy of this popular work.
