Cloth. Condition: Poor. No Jacket. Edward Willard Deming (illustrator). Dark blue cover worn bare at both ends of spine and corners. Cover has scratches and an orange paint line across the back. From a school library with stampings on several pages. Words underlined here and there. Several edge tears that have been taped. Smudges throughout. Even with flaws it is still a tight copy with beautiful full page color illustrations. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Ex-Library.

Softcover. Condition: Near fine. First Edition. 47pp in stapled wrappers, illustrated with b/w reproductions of Deming's work and frontis photo of Deming. Near fine, with light wear to wrappers. Deming (1860-1942) was an American painter who specialized in depictions of Native American scenes. This booklet includes a biographical sketch; the text of letters to Deming from Frederic Remington, Francis La Flesche, Theodore Roosevelt, and others; and excerpts from press notices about Deming and his work.
