There is a small bit of foxing on a few pages, but none that interferes with the printed word or laid in illustration. This beautiful book is a wonderful source of information. There is no date of publication, but the full leather cover has an Art Nouveau embossed design on the leather front cover with gilt print. . The edges are gilt. There is light wear and rubbing on the spine ends and top edge. This is volume 2 only. Extra postage is needed because of the weight and size.
