Papierbedingt leicht gebräunt. - "Die Heilquellen liegen ganz nahe am See von Tiberias (Galiläer Meer) und sprudeln, kaum einige Schritte vom Wasser des See s entfernt, im Sande hervor. Die Temperatur derselben konnte ich, da mir mein Thermometer zerbrochen War, nicht genau bestimmen; jedoch glaube ich dem Gefühle nach dieselbe wohl auf 50 bis 55° R. angeben zu dürfen. Nachdem nämlich das Wasser von den Duellen ein paar hundert Schritte weit in steinernen Kanälen bis zu einem kleinen Bad hause des Ibrahim Pascha geleitet worden, wo es in einem l 1/2 bis 2 Zoll dicken Strahle ausströmt, ist es noch so heiss, dass man nur momentan die Hand darunter halten kann.
