Black titles to upper, gilt to spine. Internally clean, light toning throughout. Offsetting to flyleaves. Small bookseller's label to rear pastedown, ownership inscription in pencil to front pastedown. Top edged toned. Boards lightly marked, with a couple of more noticeable ink/paint strokes to lower. Spine toned. Mild wear to joints and extremities. Very good. A series of stories, each featuring the sibling duo Jane and John who possess a bottle of magic water that can bestow animals the power of speech.
