Colour-illustrated softcovers, cover art by Virgil Finlay, (uniform light interior toning as usual, slight shelfwear, every so slight chipping head & foot of spine, faint crease front cover), still VG bright copy. First edition of this installment in Astounding Stories considered Campbell's "Golden Age," and which here included Robert Heinlein's debut story "Life-Line," along with "General Swamp, C.I.C." under Hubbard's Engelhardt pseudonym, as well as de Camp's "Blue Giraffe," and Willy Ley's "Space War.".
