Bra…ndspur, Gbrsp. - Uhse (1677 - 1730), war einer jener, im ausgehenden siebzehnten und beginnenden achtzehnten Jahrhundert so häufig vorkommenden, Vielschreiber, deren reiche schriftstellerische Production im umgekehrten Verhältnisse zum litterarischen Werthe des Geleisteten stand. Er studierte seit 1695 an der Universität in Leipzig, wo er die Vorlesungen von Carpzov, Olearius, Günther, Mencke u. A. hörte, und wurde 1698 zum Magister der Philosophie promovirt. Am 3. Juni 1711 trat er sein Amt als Rector des Merseburger Domgymnasiums an, nachdem er vorher eine Berufung an das Rectorat in Thorn abgelehnt hatte. Hier lebte er in eifrigster Hingabe an seinen Beruf und widerstand selbst der Versuchung Professor an der Universität Leipzig zu werden. (Zitat).

Mischauflage der ersten beiden Bände von dreien. 1704, 1705 und 1706 erstmals erschienen. Provenienz: Titelblatt des ersten Bandes verso handschriftlich: "Paulus Markovich", ein Vorbesitzer dort ausgeschnitten, Fehlstelle alt hinterlegt.
