Eberhard Bronchorst bzw. Everard van Bronkhorst (1554-1627); bedeutender niederländischer Rechtsgelehrter. Der 1. Druck des vorliegenden Werkes erschien 1607 (ohne Wissen bzw. Zustimmung des Verfassers) in Frankfurt, der 1. von ihm autorisierte Druck 1624 in Leiden.
