With a dedicatory poem 1914-Now by F. De Burgh to front followed by a preface by Sir Sidney Low and a note of thanks by the editors. Including portraits and works by a number of authors including: G. K. Chesterton, Walter De La Mare, John Buchan, and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. With a contemporary typed letter about the publication on headed paper from the "Not Forgotten" Association inserted dated 7th August 1925. In a cloth binding. Externally, smart but with slight bumping and wear to extremities and occasional marks. Internally, generally firmly bound although slightly strained in places. Bright and generally clean but with the odd spot and handling mark, slight foxing to endpapers and slight toning to plates. Very Good. Dorothy Stanley (illustrator). book.

These were drawn by various artists, the most famous of whom was Leslie Ward who used the 'nom de crayon' of "Spy". This portrait will come mounted/matted and ready to frame using archivist quality materials, mount size 18 x 12 inches, 47 x 31 cms. It will be presented in a cellophane wrapper with our label guaranteeing authenticity. We pack very well, between sheets of hardboard. This is an excellent opportunity to purchase a portrait of Hubert George de-Burgh Canning, second Marquis of Clanricarde, with the caption "old wares". With accompanying biographical details.
