[.] Fanny Moser wurde durch Privatlehrer unterrichtet, besuchte ein Knabeninstitut in Lausanne und erlangte 1895 die Maturität. Sie begann ein Medizinstudium zuerst in Freiburg im Breisgau, dann in Zürich, wechselte darauf zur Zoologie und doktorierte 1902 in München. Moser arbeitete für Museen (unter anderem in Berlin) und in zoologischen Stationen und betrieb Studien über Rippen- und Röhrenquallen. Nach einem Konversionserlebnis an einer spiritistischen Sitzung 1914 entwickelte sie ein grosses Interesse an unerklärlichen Phänomenen. Ab 1918 lebte sie im mährischen Kremsier, 1927-1943 in München, dann in Zürich. Fanny Moser legte eine wertvolle Sammlung parapsychologischer Literatur an und publizierte 1935 ihr Werk Der Okkultismus.
