Lieve gora alle ultime pagine ma copia ben conservata. Auger Ferrier di Tolosa (1513-1588) è stato un medico, ma si fece apprezzare anche come astrologo e poeta. Fu medico ordinario di Caterina de' Medici. Questa opera è assai curiosa, si tratta di un trattato cinquecentesco sulla interpretazione dei sogni e il legame con l'astrologia e la fede cristiana. In appendice scritti di Ippocrate, Galeno e Sinesio. Molto raro. Techener 1248: "Una delle pubblicazioni più affascinanti di Jean de Tournes".

The work is a treatise on the Spanish plague or Spanish pox, otherwise called the Neapolitan disease, which is none other than syphilis and which had been wreaking havoc in France for some time (depending on the country it was also called the French disease).
