Artwork by the French artist Jacques Le Flaguais (1921-1986). Founded in 1937, Trans-Canada Air Lines was the country's flag carrier until 1965 (now Air Canada); the Canadian company operated services to cities in the USA and the Caribbean as well as transatlantic flights to Europe.
