Contemporary inscription presenting the book from Richard Mardingale to Richard Hugill[?] of Helmsley, Yorks, in 1834. First and apparently only edition. Caleb Fletcher (1759-1841) was presumably a Quaker - there is a copy at the Society of Friends. Two copies only in WorldCat outside the UK, at Yale and South Carolina. Not in Johnson, Provincial Poetry.
