Imaginative visual history of the company, its founders, facilities, logos and capabilities. Extensively illustrated with spectacular photographs, photomontages and an ingenious series of nested double-sided folding plates featuring Frida Kahlo's famous photograph taken at the Zocalo in Mexico City on front of the threefold paper with a whimsical pop-up of a Zeppelin flying above Elsner-Druck's location and its neighborhood. The spreads are accompanied by text with lyrical as well as philosophical aspiration, including surprisingly bold political commentary. Art direction: Bodo Köchel. Pages uncut, as issued.
